On September 17, GenstorAIge officially launched its AI strategy covering the full cloud-edge-device spectrum at an AI strategy launch event.

 

 

I. When computing power is no longer the bottleneck, where does the problem lie?

 

At the beginning of the event, GenstorAIge Chairwoman and CEO Sun Dan posed this core question to the audience. She pointed out that GPU computing power has grown nearly 60,000-fold over two decades, while memory bandwidth and capacity have grown almost linearly—under the memory wall, the mainstream solutions seem to be limited to KV Cache compression and HBM stacking.

II. Cloud Side: No tiers above the architecture, but nuances beneath it—all-media storage makes cost and performance achievable simultaneously

 

GenstorAIge Vice President Li Zhen and VAST Data China Pre-sales Director Liu Chenhong took the stage together to launch GenstorAIge's all-media stack solution for cloud AI storage.

III. Edge Side: Inference moves down, AI90 turns consumer-grade GPUs into enterprise-exclusive Token factories

 

GenstorAIge Vice President Xu Wei and Senior Director Yang Zehong presented the AI90 training and inference acceleration engine at the edge launch segment. Xu Wei first introduced the technical implementation of the AI90 Token factory:

Through intelligent KV Cache scheduling and intelligent P2P interconnection, AI90 offloads KV Cache from HBM to high-performance AI SSDs, building a three-tier storage system of HBM + DRAM + SSD, allowing 'limited' video memory to carry 'unlimited' context, and consumer-grade hardware to deliver enterprise-grade performance.

Subsequently, a representative from a financial institution shared their AI exploration and practice in the financial sector. Yang Zehong provided hard data on AI90 through a live demo: inference throughput jumped from approximately 120 tk/s to 610 tk/s, and Time to First Token latency dropped from 27.99 seconds to 0.56 seconds—a 5x throughput increase and a 50x faster response.

Haiwei Intelligent Computing CTO Liu Chao affirmed AI90's practical data from a partner perspective: Based on the AMD-AI90 integrated machine, with the Qwen 72B model, the cost per token was only about 1/67 of the equivalent cloud API price.

IV. Device Side: From PC to Agent PC, AI30 breaks through the 'last mile' of device-side AI

 

Flowy CEO Qi Guoliang shared the technical implementation of AI PCs in his device-side speech—through deep integration with GenstorAIge's AI30, introducing AI SSDs into the device-side architecture, combined with the device-side inference engine Herdsman and a hybrid model strategy, enabling AI PCs to execute lightweight tasks locally, dispatch complex inference to the cloud, and perform Auto intelligent scheduling.
